Garments Manufacturing Process in Factory

 


Here we will discuss about the Garment Manufacturing Process in Factory.


In Cutting Section, first the finished fabric is brought to cutting floor and is first kept in relaxation trolleys and machines for 6 to 24 hours depending on the type of fabric. 


After Relaxation Fabric is laid according to order sheet.


Then the panels are marked according to the marker 


 After that the fabric is cut according to the marker.


The marker design is input in the cutter machine software for each design before cutting each style.


 Then the panels are numbered and bundled orderly.

 After that quality team checks the bundle.


If the design has print or embroidery, the bundles are sent to the required department.


If the design is solid, then the bundles are sent to the sewing line input area for sewing.


In Sewing Section, according to the garment design, the sewing and I.E. department first do the machine layout according to the sewing processes required.


The required bundles and accessories for the garment are collected from the sewing input area and is brought to the sewing line.


Then the panels and accessories are sewn together to make the garments.


At the out of the sewing line, quality assurance department checks all the garments and only the OK garments are passed on to the next process.


Then the garments are send to sucker unit to remove yarn dust and extra yarns.


Then the garments are sent to iron section. 


After ironing the quality department checks the garments and the Ok garments are send to packing department.


Before packing, the quality department checks the measurement and other details. The quality OK garments are then given for packing.


Then the garments are arranged by size, label and country. Accordingly the hang tag and hanger is put and the product are folded and put in poly as per buyer’s guidelines.


Then the poly garments are passed through the metal detection machine to ensure that there are no metal or needles inside the garments.


Then according to buyer guidelines and packing list, the garments are packed inside cartoon boxes.


The finished carton boxes are kept in the finished garments warehouse.


Before shipment the buyer’s quality department checks the cartoons and gives approval for shipment.


After approval, the commercial department prepares the necessary documents and then the goods are shipped out.
